Every so often, I chop my hair off.
When I make this big move
with my big head, it symbolizes 3 things for me;
It symbolizes, Rebirth
It symbolizes, Change
And it symbolizes, My Availability to Grow!
When my son Javion was diagnosed with Cancer 5 years ago, we endured the lost of all of his beautiful hair all over his precious little body.
But…No matter how many doctors poked with shots of medication into Javions’ tender body; Javion endured and keep growing!
No matter how many surgeries Javions’ fragile body participated in; Javion endured and kept growing!
No matter how long the doctor’ appointments lasted, Javion Whatley endured and kept growing!
So when I conduct my chop-offs, I am giving a Huge Praise and Appreciation for my Littleman, Javion who’s now 8 years old and 2 years cancer-FREE!!!!  His testimony has taught me to endure being in a stage of re-birth, to embrace change and to keep pushing forward no matter how much pain I may be in.
Thank you JESUS for your testimony because all it does is make us better…
I love you Sir Javion.  You are my light, my encouragement and my strength!!! Shot out to you baby.
